It’s not likely that a church turned in upon its own success and security is going to experience genuine spiritual renewal. We may succeed in building larger and larger churches and attracting more and more customers but until we get serious about the hungry, the thirsty, the refugees, the sick, and the captives, we simply are not the church of Jesus Christ.
